The Mini Monster that we ran this past Saturday was more of a mountain climbing exercise than a road race, but it was fun nonetheless, especially when I saw a few people I knew during the race.
On Sunday we played a round at Magaliespark, but it turned out very difficult for me. I suspect the Mini Monster because last time I played there I did fine. Then there was a lady who scored a hole-in-one and received a nice little certificate to take home. Unbelievable. What about a 62 year old lady in the US who went to the golf course for the first time ever and hit a hole-in-one on the first hole? This is very sad for all those committed golfers who have been playing for decades and still have no hole-in-one to show.
